Today was a typical friday, long n tiring. As usual, i had to stay back for my ncc training at 2.00pm. After gobbling up my food in a matter of minutes, I made my way to the library and hooked on to my favourite Mr. Midnight Book. I also met Kevin, Sheng Hong. Many ppl nowadays spend their time at the library. At about 1.45pm sharp i raced down at the speed of light(3,000,000m/s)to the bench-area at the parade square where we usually put our bags n stuffs. SOon i was all set for training. After 10 minutes of waiting, training began. One of our platoon-mates had forgot to bring No.4, some 4got bring beret, etc. so we faced the music-50pushups. I was able to do up to 40 proper push-ups but during the last ten i was huffing and puffing and sweating profusely.Later we had a course on map orientation-in other words, map reading skills.LAter we were given a test/trial to exhibit the skills that we had learnt.I learnt how to read a map, measure distances between any two points using map scales, using 6-figure grid references to locate a specipic place in a map, using a compass, pacing(measuring no of steps taken to travel a specific distance). In other words, it was more like an basic geography class. I got an overall score of 70/100 (reasonably well in my own opinion as some had got 6x). NEvertheless, some people got 8x-90x.Most parts of the test were quite easy. But i failed the pacing part dunno why ---....sad:(. It was a giveaway, could have boosted my score a lot. WASTED!1DAMN!
Soon traing ended and i strolled home enjoying the cool gust of wind that blew while sipping my MILO drink now and then to soothe myself.
It was definitely a fun and interesting training as anything was better than PT. It was a great day!!!LOLs

ANother lazy Thursday
We only needed to be at school at 8.30 so i woke up later than usual and left home at about 8.00am in the morning. First period was Geog. We learnt ablut activities which have an huge impact on the natural environment. It was quite an easy topic, considering the fact that most of it is 'general knowledge'. Later was Science in which we learnt about Power and safety precautions to implement when using electricity. After recess was RAY Maths. Cool! We were given last year's class test in preparation of our Mathematics test next Tuesday. It was really helmpful and the questions were reasonably easy. I will do my best in the upcoming Mathematics Test i hope my efforts will pay off. 'Practice makes Perfect'
Last period-English.Mrs. Ritu was not there and so another relief teacher took charge of us. We watched Transformers. That was awesome. Probably better than learning about racial harmony or RESILIENCE.Lols~~~:))))))

OKAY, today was a typical Tuesday. In the morning, during PE,we played some traditional games including pogo stick, Marbles, Tops etc as Racial Harmony Day is around the corner. It was indeed very fun and interesting. The Pogo stick, though, was the hardest of all! I had tried so hard but yet i kept falling down several times. As lady luck was on my side, i did not injure myself. It is indeed stunning how Mr. Goh could do it with ease. Maby it could have been my height that made it harder for me to jump.
Playing the top was reasonably easy. At first my top went haywire and spun like crazy. Not long after, i could spin the top fairly well.
The marble game was borin but quite interesting i guess. There were so many marbles and everyone was throwing them here and there and probaby half the marbles might have disappeared. LOLs. Some people had taken home the marbles;could be because of their attractive appearance. Anyways marbles nowadays must be quite cheap i guess since not many people play with them. WOn't be much of a loss either.
I hope we will have PE next Tuesday so that we can play the other traditional games including the kite-flying which really captivated me.

7 July 2009
Today was the Sec2 Streaming talk. It was the most dreadful day of my life as i would have to stay in school till 5.00pm. It was going to be a long, tiresome day and i was feeling very tired indeed. After wolfing down my sumptuous lunch of sambal chicken rice, i sprinted up the classroom as fast as my legs could carry me and not long after, the talk began...:)
It was briefly like a typical PC/VE lesson where you learn about values i.e resilience!LOL!!
We also played some 'kindergarden' games. It was so funny and freakin boring. Then, there came the important part: Info about the different sub. combination. I was quite interested in this part though...
After what seemed like an eternity the talk was over and we were dismissed. It was a boring talk, nevertheless benefitted me a bit.

2nd of July
School began today at 8.30 and i had arrived at school much earlier at about 7.55am. So there was still lot of time and i overcame my boredom by reading the Pearl. Reading the Pearl may not be very captivating; Yet it is better than doing nothing i guess. Soon time flew by and lessons began.
We had just started on the new science chapter-electiricty. Though much of it was what we had learnt in primary school (for e.g. circuit diagrams, symbols etc.), nevertheless, there were also some difficult/chim stuff we had to learn. We also learnt series and parallel circuits.
In RayMaths, we had our first scoop of quadratic graphs and learnt how to use them to solve quadratic equations. Drawing a quadratic graph is the hardest of all! Many of my graphs are very wavy and un-smooth as i used my freehand to draw. But as they say it, practice makes perfect and you'll soon be drawing nice, smooth curves with ease.
Today was a routine school day..........

1st day of the month of July^^
Today was a long, tiring day. School ended only at 2.50pm(amost reach 3pm) and till then there were plenty of lessons. Our new PC(Pastoral Care) teacher was one cool dude. He was fun, sportive and had a very good sense of humor. For the first time in history I had enjoyed PC lesson, thanks to him. Nevertheless, there is a time to joke and there is a time to be serious as well. It's important to maitain self-control at all times. This teacher was also one of our D n T (Design and Technology) teachers and this was good news! I hope we will have an exciting learning experience with this teacher!
